Mr Benjamin Way is a fully accredited (board certified) consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon, on the GMC specialist register for plastic surgery.
He graduated as a doctor from the University of Oxford with degrees in physiological science (BA) and clinical medicine (BMBCh), before completing his surgical training in London at some of the UKs leading plastic surgery units, with postgraduate masters/doctoral research at the UCL Institute of Child Health at Great Ormond Street into craniofacial and scar biology. He has over 15 years of experience in managing reconstructive and aesthetic patients, leading to his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons – FRCS(plast), and consultant appointment at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead since 2023 where he specialises in melanoma, skin cancer reconstruction, and lymphatic surgery and reconstruction.
Mr Benjamin Way completed aesthetic fellowships at Purity Bridge in Tunbridge Wells (BAAPS appointed), the McIndoe Centre in East Grinstead and at Parkside Hospital, London, as well as fellowships in melanoma/specialist skin cancer (Guys and St Thomas’) and lower limb/trauma microsurgery (QVH). He offers patients all options of aesthetic surgery for the face, breast and body but has particular interest and experience in complex body contouring and breast uplift surgery, including secondary/revision cases, lipomodelling and abdominoplasty.
