Gynaecomastia is male chest or breast enlargement. There is an excess of glandular breast tissue and/or fatty tissue on one or both sides of the chest. Surgery usually takes between two and three hours.
For a Gynaecomastia , it takes 4-6 weeks to recover, but no exercise is recommended for 6 weeks after surgery. Most people are able to return to light duties at work at 2-weeks, but if you can take longer off work, it is helpful.
